When trailering your motorcycle you need to secure your ride properly on your trailer or pickup truck. Using straps like most people do, it does mean compressing your front forks, which is not good for the seals, especially if you'll be driving for a while.

The compressed forks will receive a lot of stress while you drive your car, often over bumps and not-so-even road surfaces. And loading and unloading the motorcycle takes time. Placing the straps, tightening them, checking the straps, re-tightening them and then reversing the procedures when off-loading.

Motocross motorcycles are one category motorcycle that gets trailered a lot. It's inherent to the type motorcycle since they are often not road legal, so you have no choice but to load them on a trailer or pickup truck. Risk Racing has got a great product for years now that make trailering motocross bikes easy ... very easy.

Lock n Load

Called Lock-N-Load, there are no straps involved, just the bar system that gets bolted into the trailer or pickup. There is even a quick release system to remove the Lock-N-Load.

You can see how the system works in the video below, but in essence it's very simple. Two jaws are fixed to the loading platform, you just ride ( or push) your motorcycle into the jaws, click into place and off you go.

Lock n Load

Off-loading is as simple as pressing the release latch, and removing the bike.

On top of that, you can easily load more than one motorcycle since they really do not use up anymore space than the motorcycle itself.

Lock n Load

The Lock-N-Load system can be used by most 125 to 400 cc motocross motorcycles. I wouldn't try it with a streetbike though... Watch the video below for more information.

WARNING. When I accessed the Risk Racing web site, I was getting all sorts of virus/malware warnings from Google, so access them at your own risk. There is a link to Amazon below for more information and price.

Via: SWSINMBTAPSource Web Site Is Not Mentioned Because They Are Pricks.

Normally between web sites, when you find data for an article on someone's site, you mention where you found it, usually with a Via or Source link.

Some sites see themselves above everyone else (or afraid that their readers go elsewhere), and never or rarely mention others. Since these sites have been doing this to me, I have decided not to mention them.

Why should I?
