Most motorcycle safety campaigns are based on shock treatments. They tend to scare the living daylights out of you. But in the UK, specifically the county of Derbyshire, they've taken a more positive view of motorcycle safety.
Last year, Derbyshire launched a campaign that says "Stay in control. Die of old age". I love it. That's a more positive take....The byline reads "Bikes aren't dangerous. Bad riders are". They even have a dedicated website for motorcycle safety. Click here to access it
The campaign won the top prize in the UK from Freshawards.co.uk. For me, they deserved to win. It's a fresh approach...
