Allstate Insurance company has compiled a report on the safest cities in the USA to ride/drive in. Based on accident insurance claims, they've listed the cities where you'll find the least accidents up to the ones that are the worst. The number one spot goes to Fort Collins, Colorado , where you can expect to have an accident once every 14.5 years. And the worst and most dangerous city in the USA to ride? Washington DC, where you can expect an accident every 5.1 years. You can see the complete list of 200 cities by clicking on the Via: link above in the header. Does this mean that Washington drivers are worse? IMHOIn My Humble Opinion, I don't think so. If you look closely at the figures, you'll see that all big cities are at the bottom, while smaller ones at the top. Small cities have less dense traffic, so less chance of an accident. But nevertheless, it's interesting statistics.
