Venezuela: Motorcycle Used As Paddy Wagon, Again

It looks like Venezuela has little money to afford real paddy wagons Open paddy wagons link in a new window, so they use motorcycles instead during the riots. Riots that are there because Venezuela has little money. Looks like a vicious circle...

The police force in question are very much in question.. just read the Wikipedia article Open En.Wikipedia link in a new window. I would not want to be the demonstrator...

Usually in countries where a motorcycle cop arrests someone, they call in a car or van to transport the suspect. But apparently not in Tunisia ... they just put him (or her) on the back of their motorcycle. Only salient point is that each motorcycle cop already has someone riding pillion...

How safe is this?
