The Baja 1000  race needs little introduction. In terms of endurance, toughness and deadliness, it's the Dakar equivalent of North America. But outside the USA, it's not that well known (as the Dakar is not that well known in the USA).
Two guys decided to make a documentary on their attempt to ride the Baja 1000 race on off-road motorcycles, and best of all, the documentary is free and can be watched on line. Called "Road to Baja ", you can see the video on-line, or read the interesting story full of photos.
Radek Burkat and Andrew Krynen, both mountain bikers, exchanged pedals for an engine, and raced the race of their lives. Very well filmed by cinematographer Ambrose Weingart, the one hour documentary is a must see for those interested in off road endurance races like the Baja 1000. Just have a look at the teaser video below, you'll see what I mean.
