For some time now, the famous Austrian energy drink Red Bull have been sponsoring all sorts of motorsports. In the MotoGP world, they have been very active, especially in the 125 and 250 cc categories. Red Bull want to be able to sponsor very young (and very fast) motorcycle racers all the way to the top, i.e., World Champion MotoGP! So Red Bull are looking for young racers, aged between 13 and 16 years old. It's simple to get into the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, but it's not easy. To get selected, you'll need a helmet, leathers and the money for a plane ticket to the selection event (in Italy). They are almost finished with the selection, but you still have a bit of time. The deadline for the applications is October 5th. The final selection is scheduled for 24-25 October at the Adria Raceway in Italy (close to Venice). If you're interested, fill out the application form on their website-> click here . Once you've tested (it takes 15 minutes), and if you're selected, you move to the next round, which is at the Circuit Paul Ricard in France on 22-23 November. For the participants, age – accepted are those born between January 1, 1992, and December 31, 1994 – as well as the right attitude, is essential. Harald Bartol, Director of the Red Bull KTM Racing Team and the Austrian motorbike legend Gustl Auinger will not only be judging lap times but also driving style, attitude and ambition. What is not important, on the other hand, is nationality, sex or racing experience. Who knows, maybe you'll be the next Valentino Rossi or Casey Stoner?
