Watch A Drag Race Between A KLR650 And An Electric Zero FX

We all know by now that electric motorcycles have enormous torque available all the time. But knowing how much they have and seeing are two different things.

Here is a video taken by an onboard video camera on a Kawasaki KLR650Kawasaki KLR650 2010 motorcycle, riding with an electric Zero FXZero FX 2014 motorcycle. They agree to open up when they reach the speed limit sign, and both motorcycles open their throttles.

Have a look at this short video to see the difference. I'll grant you that the KLR is not a dragbike, but neither is the Zero FX, which is an off-road motorcycle. It's quite impressive....
