Motorcycle brake lights (and indicators) are usually placed at the back of your motorcycle. It doesn't make sense to place a brake light somewhere else, does it?

Some companies have realized that not many car driver can actually see the brake lights when tailgating, so they came up with a brake light placed on your helmet.

Harness brake light for motorcycles
Israeli Rahamim Levi went one step further, and has made a harness, called My Backup, that is worn over your motorcycle clothes. In the back of the harness are the motorcycle indicator and brake lights.

The device is attached to the bike wireless, so need to worry when you go off the motorcycle. The unit should work quite well for scooters, cruisers and GT style motorcycle, but on a sports motorcycle, the rider is leaning so far forward, that you can't see the lights. But for the other style riders, the brake light located on your back will be well seen by car drivers.

Obviously if you're riding with a pillion, the pillion will need to don the harness.

It's not the first time this got thought off {link}, but this application is more practical.

They're expecting that the unit will cost approx $100.

Sorry, no web site yet.
