Many motorcycle riders like to record their motorcycle trips on to a video. It's one of the largest number of YouTube posting. Having a look at those twisties, or your wheelie at 120 mph, is something that interests many bikers. The problem is that you can't hold a camcorder while riding, or fixing it to your motorcycle is too limiting. The only logical place to put a camera is on your helmet. There are plenty of helmetcams out there, but they all suffer a few weaknesses, the main one if the wind drag, but also the head is not the most stable recorder platform out there. Swedish industrial designer Johan Frossen is designing a wearable camera. You can "shape" the camera around your next, or maybe even shoulder/arm. The camera send the images wireless to a recorder (like your mobile phone), so the device is not wired to anything. Complete freedom of movement. The camera is equipped with a fisheye, so it captures everything around you. The top has a microphone, so sound is also transmitted. The device is still in prototype, but should hopefully see a manufacturer interested. Click here to see more images and read more about it .
