If you're anything like me, you'll not like having to do those pesky jobs on your motorcycle, like greasing your chains (my solution ), cleaning wheels, adjusting tire pressure etc. All those jobs are done in my garage, and there's little space to roll the motorcycle to advance the chain, or get to the tires from another angle. Unless you have dedicated, and often expensive equipment in your garage, the only choice I have is to push the bike out to move things along. Yes, I know, I'm lazy... very lazy. But fear not fellow-lazy bikers, here's a bit of equipment that's not that expensive, and that will help you do those pesky jobs. Called Wheel Jockey , it's a metal box with sealed ball bearings. The box itself has a non-skid back, it's small and portable (it'll even fit in your topcase). Roll your motorcycle's wheel onto the box (it's only 1.5' above the ground so it should be a problem pushing it), and once it's on, you can easily spin the wheel in whatever direction you want. No hassle... They've got two version, one for motorcycles less than 650 lbs like sportbikes, the other for bikes weighing less than 950 lbs (so even a Gold Wing will fit). The Wheel Jockey works on all model bikes EXCEPT motorcycles with off-road tires! The <650 lbs model costs US$59, the bigger version costs US$89.
