If you use your motorcycle for commuting only, and rarely carry things on your bike, these products are not for you. But if you ride long distances, adventure rides, camping/fishing trips, and even RTWRound The World rides, you will be needing to carry stuff on your motorcycle. There are probably as many luggage manufacturers out there as there are motorcycle manufacturers. Almost all of them make luggage that can be bolted on the side of your motorcycle (panniers), to the top of your fuel tank (tank bags), or as top case. In many cases the luggage is made out of metal and only functions as cargo space, meaning, it sits on your bike and you either have a soft luggage inside, or you need to carry stuff around in your arms. But it doesn't need to be like this. USA based Wolfman Luggage make a very comprehensive series of luggage for your motorcycle, and the big difference with most luggage makers is that the Wolfman luggage is "soft" and well designed. With "soft" I mean that you can easily carry your luggage to and away from your bike, strap it in on the special cargo racks Wolfman supply, and not worry about your gear getting wet if it rains. It's luggage that you can take with you on that airplane trip, or when you are visiting the White House. Basically, it's like carrying a duffel bag and strapping it to your motorcycle. But the difference is that the strapping to your bike is done very secure, and the duffel bag is made for riding in all kinds of weather. Wolfman have got many kinds of luggage types; side panniers, fuel tank (top and/or side), they even have special luggage for enduro motorcycles. So if you're going for a RTW motorcycle trip, you'll need to carry water and fuel when crossing the Sahara desert, so Wolfman has got you covered: Basically, wherever there's a spot to hang luggage, Wolfman has got a luggage for you. On there very informative website, you'll find many videos on how to install their racks and luggage. Since they have a lot of choice, they have a page which enables you to select the luggage that is appropriate for your motorcycle manufacturer and model. Personally, if I were ever to go long distance adventure riding again, I'd go for this type of luggage. It's lighter than my Zega cases, more adaptable and easy to use, and more configurations possible.
