So you want to work on your motorcycle in your own garage, but when you find you need to get in low, you really need a hydraulic motorcycle lift . Putting a motorcycle lift is of course an option, but unless your name is Jay Leno, you probably can't afford it, and don't have the space in your garage for it. The other option is to try to place the motorcycle on a couple of beer crates, but that's pretty dicey. Aerostich have a solution that's in between the two options. They are offering what would seem like a pretty good solution to those who wrench their own bikes, have a garage, but not much storage space (like mine). It consists of two "crates", a workstand and a ramp. Add to that a couple of tie-downs, and you've for a working area, that when finished, is removed in seconds and stored away, taking up as little space as possible. The whole thing can take a weight of up to 500 lbs, elevating your motorcycle (or scooter) 11 inches above the ground. You have the options of using steel or aluminium for the ramp. Prices are very reasonable, compared to hydraulic lifts. For around US$237 you're done (+US$30 for the alu model), though you can still add some extra options, like a scissor jack, or extra tie-downs. And the thing takes up very little space.
