Yemen has in the past invoked some obscure laws to keep their citizens in check (link Open link in a new window, link Open link in a new window). One they have been applying regularly is a ban on motorcycle riding since motorcycles were used in drive-by shootings. So to stop the occasional shooting, all people riding a motorcycle had to suffer.

But a biker is smarter than most people, we all know that by now (if not we'd be driving a SUV). So these smart bikers placed a self-made sidecar on their motorcycle, and now the two wheeler has become a three wheeler, and the ban does not apply to them. Smart.
