Occasionally I see custom motorcycles that are out of this world in terms of design, looks and specs. This one fulfills these criteria without a problem. Called Zen Motorcycles , it's the brainchild of Laurent Dutruel. Laurent makes special motorcycles like a French baker makes croissants, with style and "panache". Have a look at this WL45. It was started with a Harley-Davidson 1942 engine (never used, not even by an old lady to church), a H-D Sportser gearbox, plus a few bits and bobs thrown in, like a turbo. He spent 1300 hours to make this unique piece. Just have a look at the details. He doesn't only make special motorcycles based on Harleys. He uses several different manufacturers. Here's one based on a Buell, called the XB9RS. It was his first project based on an American V-twin engine. Laurent not only designs motorcycles. He also makes furniture, made from aluminium but looks like old fashion French baroque style furniture. Very "sexy" looking. Have a look at his site, and you'll see.
