 There's a big motorcycle enduro event in Spain called Impossible Dream , and it's three dates and locations in Spain, each with multiple days of racing. Last month the first event was held in Moia (Barcelona), consisting of a competition lasting 2 days on a 10 kms circuit. 300 motorcycles enter, and 80 make it to the final. Though at this moment there's not much info on the event on their website, one thing of note did happen. On the obstacle course, with 40 motorcycles trying to overcome an obstacle course that would make Parris Island proud, there was one electric motorcycle who qualified, a Zero MX motorcycle. Out of the 40 that took part, the Zero MX was one of the 9 that actually finished successfully. It looks like electric motorcycles are becoming more and more competitive, and giving their fossil-fuel counterparts a run for their money. How long before we see an electric motorcycle competing in the Dakar? Already for the 2013 Dakar, an electric car is racing...
