 Partially sponsored by FEMA the European Federation of Motorcycle Associations, the Clean Week 2020 - 2012 edition, is an annual competition to elect the best of the best in terms of electric vehicles. Held at the Zolder race circuit in Belgium last week, a team of 12 motorcycle journalists gathered to test the entries; Brammo, Zero, Vectrix, IO, E-Max, Govecs, Dumco, Nimoto, Novox, Peugeot, Sens, Sym, Noveco, Emco and Solex. The top prize of the European e-motorcycle went to the Zero S motorcycle. For the category electric motorcycles/scooters with speeds of less than 25 kph, the prize went to the Govecs Go S2.4 , for speeds under 45 kph, again Govecs won with the T2.4 , for scooters over 45 kph, Vectrix won with the VX 1li , and for the electric moped category, the prize went to the Nimoto Nimoto City 350 . As a note, in the electric car category, the Clean Car of the Year went to the Chevrolet Volt, Opel Ampera and Mitsubishi iMiev. This is an annual event, so expect more next year.
