1300 Start - 30 Finish ! Erzbergrodeo Enduro 14 April 2006   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Normandy, France One of the top 10 motorcycle enduro races, the Erzbergrodeo in Austria is one of the toughest. Four days of hard competition, with 1300 riders starting, and about 30 actually finishing. Have a look at this video clip. You'll understand why so few finish. But take you time, since it's a 45 minute clip !! All the big names in the motorcycle enduro world enter the race. This year is no exception. Starting on May the 25th, riders like David Knight (UK), Cyril Despres (FRA), Giovanni Sala (ITA), Travis Pastrana (USA), Jimmy Lewis (USA), Jeremy McGrath (USA), Ronnie Renner (USA), Larry Ward (USA), Darryl Curtis (RSA), Riaan van Niekerk (RSA), Chris Pfeiffer (GER), Simo Kirssi (FIN), Andy Bell (CAN), Mat Rebeaud (CH), Jimmy Verburgh (BEL), Chris Brock (UK) and many more will start the prologue.
