100K Road Deaths Per year? That's incredible, despite the fact that they are the densest populated country, the ratio is still astronomical. Just take a few moments and think about that number... think of all the coffins?? The blood shed?? All the twisted metal! Out of every 10,000 cars and motorcycle, 14 end up in a deadly accident (compared to 2 out of 10,000 in the Western world). And if there are 100K deaths, how many injuries are there? They must be in the millions! . Thanks to the high increase of vehicle sales, the authorities expect the numbers to increase to 150,000 road deaths! For more information click here . The twisted metal of smashed up cars lining highways is a grim testament to India's road toll, one of the worst in the world with around 100,000 people killed in traffic accidents last year alone.
