Yamaha: Super Tenere 1200 Coming? 11 March 2008   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Travelling Via: Moto Revue According to some well placed rumors, Yamaha is getting ready to show a new version of their recently introduced Tenere XT660Z motorcycle {link}. We might expect later this year, probably at the German Intermot, a 1200 cc version of this dual purpose motorcycle. After the enormous success BMW has had with the R1200GS, it's obvious that there's a market for powerful dual purpose bikes. Yamaha are no unknown to the world of off-road riding, so we can expect a model that will have between 100 and 120 hp (though any French version is limited to 100), with large capacity fuel tanks and robust appearance.
