Milan: Gilera Announces Automatic Transmission Motorcycle - Ferro 17 September 2003   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Paris, France The Italian motorcycle manufacturer Gilera has announced the first automatic gearbox based motorcycle !! And that coming from a motorcycle manufacturer whose parent company makes scooters (Piaggio).... The street fighter style motorcycle, with an 850 cc, 90° V twin engine, is called "Ferro" (Italian for Iron).
