EICMA 2008: Husqvarna SMQ 450 Concept 4 November 2008   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Milan, Italy Here's a brief note while I keep fighting the dealers, customers, staff and foreign visitors who have invaded all stand press conferences, without any chance to make proper photos. 10 deep rows of non-press, so many of us could not make photos during the presentation, so things are a bit slow...sorry. Husqvarna presented their concept motorcycle, quite a break from their standard line. The SMQ 450 does not look like a standard Husqvarna..or any of the previously known motorcycles from that brand. Is this already the BMW effect? I don't think so. It takes some 2-4 years to go from drawing to presentable motorcycle. The rear is very thin, even the exhaust is thinner than most.
