Kawasaki have released the specs of their 2010 Z1000 motorcycle, and it's a monster. The 2010 model has got 136 bhp and 81 lbs/ft of torque (up from 72.8 of last year's model). This has been achieved thanks to an increase in engine size, from 953 cc to 1043 cc.

The styling of the motorcycle is very modern and eye-catching.Aluminium frame, large air intake ducts and massive 4-into-2 exhaust pipes.

Is it me, or does this look like the new V-max? This bike will have to compete with the likes of the Honda CB1000R. As naked bikes go, this one has reached what it should have been in the beginning. It is one motorcycle that I'll be looking at very closely at EICMA next month.
