Speedway’s Motorcycle Ordinance Cancelled Thanks To Motorcycle Blog Pressure 11 August 2008   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Normandy, France Via: WTHR It looks like the pressure the internet has exerted on the town elders of Speedway, Indianapolis, USA has worked. Remember last month {link} we told you about Speedway's city hall planning to vote in a new ordinance that would outlaw revving up motorcycle engines? Several motorcycle sites, including this one, went up in arms, since it's nothing but discrimination (cars can rev up their engines as much as they want). Well, the good news is that they are planning to drop the ordinance today (Monday). They must have realized that it could cost them a lot of business (check the Via: above).
