Autocom SuperPro Avi
One of the oldest and best known communication equipment manufacturers in the UK, AutoCom Open link in a new window, went belly up late last year. They were one of the economic crisis victims, since their intercom products were on the higher end range of intercom prices. Autocom, despite a strong and reliable reputation, had to compete with wireless (Bluetooth) headsets like Interphone, Cardo, Bikercom, AKE and many others.

To make matters worse (IMHO), Autocom did not offer Bluetooth headset capability.

But rejoice Autocom owners! Your equipment is not in peril of not having any spare parts or maintenance. Tecstar Electronics Open link in a new window has purchased Autocom. Tecstar already have Starcom1 Open link in a new window communication equipment, so now they have Autocom as well.

I wonder what they are going to do with two brands of motorcycle communication equipment?
