The European Motorcycling Union (EUM) Open link in a new window have organized this year's European Female Motorcycle Racing Championships, a track race meant only for women. This is the 3rd year that the championship is being held, and every year it's becoming increasingly more popular.

Several teams have taken part, and the last race was held this weekend in Oschersleben, Germany Click for map.

With 40,000 spectators, the Dutch girl Iris Ten Katen Open link in a new window became European Champion in the Superestock 600 category, while German Nina Prinz Open link in a new window became Superstock 1000 Champion.

If you check their respective websites, you'll see that the teams both look professional and well able. Congratulations ladies, well done!
