I love my motorcycle, don't get me wrong. And I don't mind washing it once every blue moon. But when I ride past a car wash, and see the owners of these cages sitting quietly sipping their coffee while their cars go through an automatic car wash, I get a bit jealous. It's hard work to clean a bike, and at the first ride after you've cleaned it, it's dirty again.

But no more. A company in the USA are making the first automatic motorcycle wash. Called Moto Express Open link in a new window, these machines look a lot like the car version, expect smaller.

Properly washing your motorcycle by hand will take 1 or 2 hours, more if you've got a lot of chrome and details. With the Moto Express, it's 5 minutes.

Several of these machines have already been installed in the USA. Now, let's see how long it's going to take for it to come to France. I know I'll be a great customer....

Maybe what they should do, is place this machine on a truck, and go to all the big motorcycle events. Make a deal with a parking lot, and have bikers park their bike, have it cleaned, and then pick it up after the event. Cool!

So, if you're a motorcycle entrepreneur, what are you waiting for?
