Man On Motorcycle Rides 120 km, Realizes He Forgot His Wife 23 July 2008   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Normandy, France Via: Bloguidon Imagine the scene... a French couple went for a day trip to Germany, and on the way back home, they stopped at a service station alongside the motorway to fill up. After relaxing for a few minutes, the rider continues his route. 120 kilometers further he suddenly discovers that his wife is no longer sitting behind him.. the seat is empty! Shocked, he goes to the closest Gendarme station and reports that his wife has probably fallen off his motorcycle, asking if her body has been found somewhere alongside the autoroute, or if she may be in a hospital. After a quick investigation and a few hasty phone calls, the Gendarmes find out that, no, she didn't fall off the motorcycle, he just simply forgot her when he left the service station....(must have been the shock of the fuel cost).
