Ads: Yamaha Fazer, Or How Not Make Good Motorcycle Ads 5 June 2012   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Normandy, France Via: Ads of the World Somehow the ADK Fortune Communication PR company in India missed to boat on this one. Two Yamaha print advertisements for their Fazer motorcycle. Both ads refer to historical explorers, Columbus and Vasco de Game. And then to top things off, they've got two different logos, something that will confuse readers. How many people will identify their Fazer with an adventure motorcycle? And that while Yamaha have an excellent "explorer" motorcycle, the XT1200Z Super Tenere. The tag line for both ads reads (in small letters) "Open your heart to the touring spirit with Yamaha Fazer". What do you think?
