Leave Your Mark At Harley-Davidson 29 June 2007   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Normandy, France Harley-Davidson motorcycles is opening their museum next year, and Harley wants to be able to let you leave your mark before it opens. So instead of waiting until the museum opens and scratching your name in the toilet walls, Harley will allow you to put your name and a message on 3" stainless steel rivet. The rivets will be displayed on the walls or at the special plaza. If you're a club, HOG chapter or dealer, you can opt for a 6" rivet. The individual rivets cost US$250, while the 6" rivet will set your company back US$ 2,500. You can put your name and message online. Once the museum is open, you'll be part of the Harley legend. Click here to access the site. NOTE: I got to hand it to Harley. They're geniuses in getting money. 3 and 6" rivets are small, so they can pack 100,000's of rivets.
