Bermuda To Start Very Graphic Safety Campaign 26 January 2009   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Travelling Via: Royal Gazette The small tropical island paradise known as the Bermudas is really nice to holidays and R&RRest and Recreation . White sandy beaches, slowly rolling waves, crystal clear water, palm trees, warm weather and ... lots of accidents. Accidents happen anywhere in the world, but in a place where you think you're in paradise, you might just end up in the real one before you know it. The Bermuda Road Safety Council is on the war path, and are very serious about it. They are planning to shock the car and motorcycle riders. Their new, very graphic, campaign is hoped to send a strong message to the folks who drink and drive. The graphic photos will be strategically placed in rest-rooms, bars and restaurants. Patrons will be exposed to these shocking photos as deterrent. The clubs on the island support the initiative. Below the jump, you will see one of the photos they intend to show.
