Italian motorcycle manufacturer legend, Moto Guzzi, are organizing an enormous motorcycle ride out. It's not just a bunch of Moto Guzzis going for a day ride. No. It's 6 "caravans" consisting of Moto Guzzis starting in 6 different locations in Europe, and riding to world's biggest motorcycle exhibition in Milan, Italy: Eicma.
It's a completely organized event. Moto Guzzi have organized hotels, restaurants, ferries, entrance to EICMA, big party in Milan etc. They have breakdown assistance and even have a follow/sweeper car. All you need to do is show up on your bike. Each "caravan" has a price associated to it, since distances are different. Below are the caravans, listing only the single rider option (they also cater for pillion, and even have a "DeLuxe" option):
Apart from the hotels and restaurants, you also get the roadmap, patch & stickers and a travel note book. For those who register before 10 October, you get a large sized photo of yourself on your Guzzi and the Guinness World Record mosaic.
The event is called "Where Eagles Fly", and Guzzi have created a specific web site for the event.
I don't know about you, but this looks like fun (apart from the poor folks leaving from Copenhagen, since in November it's gotten cold and snowy there already).
